For the last 10 years on the State level we have been fighting for FAIR FUNDING for PUBLIC SCHOOLS. While we don’t shy away from givin’ them trouble when they vote against our children, we also make sure to give the good ones their flowers! 🌸 We have some strong defenders of public education in Pennsylvania! 
As part of our coalition work within PASW we made a visit to say;  THANK YOU to Senator Jay Costa Jay Costa and Senator Lindsay Williams, Lindsey Williams for fighting for our students! We see your hard work and dedication standing up for Adequacy and Basic Education Funding for our 500 plus school districts across Pennsylvania.

From rural areas to urban school districts who have not received adequate resources to educate their students. You and other senators and state representatives have stayed in the fire to make sure that Governor Shapiro’s budget honors an increase for Special Education along with General Ed funding stayed intact for Public Schools.

“Our children are our greatest treasure. They are our future. Those who abuse them tear at the fabric of our society and weaken our nation.”

Parents Supporting Parents NY INC lead by Gisele Camille had an amazing time at Neighborhood Defenders Services Resources Community Event today. Of course we had info about our CBO and lots of resources for the community in E Harlem! Thank you Neighborhood Defender Service & Shalonda Curtis-Hackett for organizing this amazing community event today.

Help us stay on mission! We have a wonderful panel planned for on grassroots trauma-informed care and how it helps keep families together. As a grassroots CBO, we truly value our community's support in helping us bring authentic voices and lived experiences to these conferences.

Had an amazing day in Brooklyn supporting coalition. Follow on IG and get involved. This is about Black & brown home ownership and Black & brown tenants being evicted from their homes. 200,000 + Black folks have left
will do all we can to support this important grassroots organization.
