Due to COVID-19, our March 31 visit to Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital has been postponed. Stay tuned for updates on when the next visit will be scheduled. In the meantime, be sure to wash your hands!

THANK YOU to all of the pilots that attended our event on Feb 4th. We had 9 pilots from Republic, JetBlue, and Emirates in attendance.

We maxed out the number of pilots allowed to volunteer and had an absolutely fantastic time! You all made a massive difference in both the children's and their family's lives and we are deeply appreciative of your generosity. We have been invited back and will keep everybody posted on future events!

Last call for pilots available on Feb 4th from 2p-3:30p at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital! Final counts need to be sent tomorrow by 3pm and we currently have three spots left!

If you are a pilot based in NYC (JFK/LGA/EWR), we'd greatly appreciate help passing along the following flyer to your ACP to shoot out to your base (or putting us in contact with him/her)! Hey all! First visit scheduled on Feb 4!

Hope everybody has had a lovely start to their new year. Please check out the events section here (https://www.facebook.com/events/2510497165937260/) or on our official website (lga.pilotsforkids.org) to learn about our first visit on Feb 4, 2020 at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. The event can accommodate up to 10 pilots and we'll have from 2pm-3:30pm to meet and greet, give gifts, and hang with the kids! Please reach out via phone, text, email/Facebook to RSVP!

I am also meeting with two members of the Childlife Services team at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital today, Jan 14, to explore partnering with them in the future as well. I am going to tour the space, discuss logistics, and try to get a date set in the future.

Big moves ahead and a big win for the kids!

Happy December PFK members! Hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving. A quick update on progress this month:

Having assumed the role of Coordinator only recently, I've had to start from scratch in setting up the PFK hospital network in the NYC area. As such, most of the December visit slots have been filled. Fear not - major progress is being made! I am currently receiving January and February schedules for Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital & Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital; be on the lookout for upcoming visits!

Thank you all for your support of this wonderful mission and don't forget to sign up as a member if you haven't; annual dues are only $15 and 100% of your dues go towards the kids!
