Incarnation School Stay tuned for more info on our June 4, 2011 Centennial Celebration to be held right here at Incarnation!

For more than 116 years, Incarnation School in Washington Heights, New York City shaped generations of students, families, educators, and community leaders. As the school prepares to close its doors, this tribute honors the incredible legacy it leaves behind.

This film is especially personal for the Blended Sense team.

Our CEO, Albert Baez, attended Incarnation School from Kindergarten through 8th Grade, while our Head of Product, Patrick Ramos, and our Head of Experience, Leandra Estevez-Abreu, also proudly call Incarnation their alma mater.

Together, they represent thousands of alumni whose lives were forever changed by the teachers, friendships, faith, and values built within these halls.

This project was created and donated by Blended Sense as a way of giving back to the community that helped shape so many of us.

Whether you’re an alumnus, parent, teacher, student, or simply someone who believes in the importance of community, we hope this film reminds you that while buildings may close, legacies never do.

Thank you, Incarnation.
Your impact will live on for generations.

It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve as the last Principal of Incarnation School. As an alumnus, teacher, coach, and principal, this school has shaped who I am. I am forever grateful for the students, families, faculty, and community who made Incarnation so special. Thank you for the memories, the lessons, and the love. Til next time❤️ - Andrew Utate

💙🧡 What an AMAZING day at our final Incarnation Field Day! 💙🧡

Today was filled with laughter, teamwork, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories. From races and games to smiles shared among students, families, faculty, and alumni, it was a beautiful celebration of the incredible community that makes Incarnation so special.

As we gathered together one last time for Field Day, we were reminded that while buildings may close, the spirit, love, and family of Incarnation will live on forever. Thank you to everyone who made today such a joyful and memorable event.

Once an Incarnation family, always an Incarnation family. ❤️

“Incarnation is a legacy that will be missed. I made best friends that I still have today and became an educator probably because of the many memories built in that school. Funny enough, I was born and raised on 571 West 175th, so my window looked right across to my classes, and it was and still is a community.

Class of 2000 — I love ya, but I also love all the Incarnation family members I grew up with, including my own sister who attended 10 plus years before me. This school will be missed, but our friendships carry on.”

—Cristina Resek, Class of 2000

“Incarnation School will always be more than just a place I attended, it’s where I was seen, first believed in and a school that shaped me into who I am today. Walking those halls back then, I didn’t realize I was building a foundation for my future, surrounded by people who poured into me with patience, discipline and love.

Years later as an educator today, I carry those lessons with me in everything I do. The values, the memories, the sense of belonging, they never left. Incarnation didn’t just educate me, it helped raised me. And for that, I’ll always be grateful.

As many of you may have heard, the Archdiocese has announced that Incarnation School will close at the conclusion of the school year. This news has been deeply heartbreaking for so many of us whose lives were shaped by this extraordinary community.

In honor of the generations of students, families, teachers, and staff who made Incarnation so special, we are planning a farewell gathering at the school on Saturday, June 20th, 2026.

We are excited to invite alumni, faculty and staff, families, and friends of Incarnation back together for a final celebration of the school’s legacy, memories, and enduring spirit.

We will continue to send updates as plans come together. If you’re interested in contributing, whether through a donation or helping with planning, we would be so grateful for your support and welcome any assistance (you can send us a DM or email Ms. C).

We hope you will join us as we gather in gratitude and celebration of all that Incarnation has meant to so many.

Kindergarten had an amazing time celebrating Earth Day! 🌎💚

Our students learned all about how to take care of God’s creation like planting, recycling, and spreading kindness to our planet. From little hands to big hearts, they showed us that even the smallest actions can make a BIG difference! 🌱✨

We are so proud of our future Earth protectors!
