Introducing Yogi ✨

This happy little girl is one of the 6 dogs we took in from the local shelter after we brought them back to get them bathed and couldn’t bare to send them back. The team said she is just the happiest little girl, full of love and joy. The vets estimate she’s 7-8 years old but she is so incredibly playful and still acts like a happy little puppy 🥹. She can be adopted anywhere in the UK and whoever gets to give this little girl her forever home is going to be so lucky!

Meet Shushu! 🐾

At just 2.5 years old and 26 lbs, Shushu is a true survivor. Rescued in South Korea, where she spent her early days living among trash outdoors and surviving on food scraps tossed once every two weeks, she has proven to be an absolute fighter.

Despite her heartbreaking past, Shushu’s spirit remains remarkably gentle and sweet. She’s quiet (barely ever barks!) and loves offering the softest little smiles as she builds trust with her foster family.
Shushu is adjusting to home life with so much grace. She gets along great with other dogs she has met, loves making human friends, and is taking to city life like a total pro - walking beautifully on a leash and staying completely unfazed by loud noises or others on the street.

A video too precious not to share with the world. Toffee, our last Korean meat trade survivor to be adopted FINALLY arrived to her forever home this week with .world ✨. We think she has settled in beautifully 🥹. While this absolutely is not the norm, it can happen, and when it does, it’s MAGIC 🪄!!! Flipper, the poodle mix puppy, is ready for adoption! He is currently being fostered in the D.C. area but can be adopted to anyone in the US willing to travel. This little 11 month old, 26lb love bug is a dream.

From his fosters:
“Flipper is such a sweet and funny little guy. He’s very friendly with people and other dogs and loves to play, especially with his toys and balls. He can be a little cautious of some dogs at first, but mostly just wants to play.

He’s doing great with potty training and is basically doing all his business outside. He’s also super smart and picks things up really quickly when you take the time to teach him. He does well at home during the day if you need to leave and will be VERY excited to see you when you get back. He’s crate trained also.

He’d do best with a family who can give him plenty of attention and continue working with him as he grows and learns. He’s a young, playful pup, so someone willing to spend time playing with him would make him very happy. He’s incredibly lovable and has so much affection and personality to give.

He’s playful, curious, enjoys exploring outside, and has been coming out of his shell more every day. He’s overall a very cute, goofy boy.”

His story: Flipper was born in a scrapyard in South Korea, where his mom (Oat) struggled to care for her litter before she was rescued. Thankfully, all of his siblings have since found loving homes... but Flipper is still the last one waiting for his forever family. 💔

In South Korea’s high-kill shelters, dogs don’t get second chances, they get a timer. Last week, 33 dogs brought in from a hoarder were placed on the euthanasia list at a high-kill facility. They were all young with entire lives ahead of them- full of potential, tail wags, and love to give.

On day one, 20 were killed.
On day two, the remaining 13 were scheduled for the exact same fate.

Our rescue partner in South Korea raced against the clock and arrived just in time to pull 2. Two lives were changed forever. The rest never got the chance to experience life that they deserved.

While we celebrate the two precious lives saved today, our hearts ache for the ones who were left behind.

This heart-wrenching loss is the direct result of global puppy mills, overbreeding, lack of spay/neuter education, and irresponsible human choices. As long as dogs are bred for profit, shelters around the globe will continue to overflow.

Choose to be a part of the solution - whether you adopt locally in your own neighborhood or internationally from across the world, every single rescue matters.

We know this story is tough to hear, but it’s a reality we cannot look away from if we want to create change.

Introducing Selene Triscuit 🍪

A little soul so precious she deserves 2 names 🥹.

This little girl is one of the 6 dogs we took in from the local shelter last week after we brought them back to get them bathed and couldn’t bare to send them back. The team said she is incredibly reserved and sensitive at the moment which makes total sense as she has bilateral cataracts and can only see light. She is slowly taking in the world around her with love and care from our China team and will be spending time at the vet getting any treatment she needs so she find a forever home and fly to the uk ✈️.

This perfect little girl deserves a kind and loving home to give her all of the love she’s missed out on. She loves other dogs so could happily with a friend but would also do well being someone’s only baby 🤍.

Introducing Evie ✨

Sweet baby Evie - what a difference a week can make!

She is one of the 6 dogs we took in from the local shelter last week after we brought them back to get them bathed and couldn’t bare to send them back. The team said Evie is incredibly gentle and timid and would only dare to take a drink or food after other dogs had taken theirs, so she wouldn’t have made it much longer at the shelter. She is loving receiving gentle affection from our China team and will be spending time at the vet getting any treatment she needs so she find a forever home and fly to the uk ✈️.

We often have a hard time finding homes for white dogs for some reason but we hope Evie is the exception. She is a gentle, dreamy, angel girl who deserves the world 🤍.

🚨 NEW DISABLED DOGS - PLEASE HELP US HELP THEM GET HEALTHY AND ADOPTED 🤎

SWIPE FOR HAPPY POST BATH PICS 🥹

We started a programme last year with help from our volunteer Sage 🌿 Biscuit 🍪 Olive 🫒 and our UK adopter group to fundraise and cover the cost for dogs in the local Chinese shelter which has over 300 dogs to come to our vet and get a groom. As a tiny rescue we cant afford to take all the dogs but we can make them more comfortable. The problem is, some of these dogs are in HORRIFIC condition and we simply cannot send them back afterwards with untreated medical issues, blindness, old age or extremely timid personalities where they’ll get bullied.

The elderly lady who runs rhe shelter does her best to help these dogs rescued from a life of breeding before being sold to the meat trade but the shelter is no place for a vulnerable dog.

So I guess meet our 6 new dogs - they all need specialist vet care to get them ready to fly so they can find amazing forever homes and we desperately need sponsors.

Our angel team member Victoria Underwood is going to be fostering Darling, the girl with no eyes and has started a fundraiser for her which has now been extended to cover all of these dogs’ care. So if you can PLEASE donate there or via all of our usual links 🤍

Meet Licca! A 2-year-old, 17 lb Maltese-mix who is the definition of resilient. 🤍

Before being rescued by one of our partners, Licca lived chained up outdoors in South Korea, raising two puppies while barely more than a puppy herself. She protected them until they were safe and both were adopted. Her pups have their forever homes, and now it’s time for Licca to get hers.

She is currently waiting in South Korea until her forever family in the USA notices her 🥹

Even though she never got the chance to just be a baby, Licca hasn’t lost her sweet spirit. She’s playful, friendly, gets along great with other dogs she has met, and walks great on a leash.

Licca recently completed her medical treatment and is ready to fly directly to major US airports. ✈️

ADOPTABLE IN NYC / EAST COAST USA🐾

Meet Vegas! This sweet Shih Tzu-mix boy who was rescued off of a meat truck in China, has made his way to NYC and is already adapting beautifully to life in foster care & the big city 🏙️

🤍Breed: Shih Tzu
🤍Age: 1 year old
🤍Weight: 7lbs
🤍Personality: Sweet, energetic, and curious. Vegas can be shy at first, but warms up quickly. He is friendly to people and other dogs he has met and is SUPER playful. He would do great with another dog sibling!
🤍Training: Working on leash walking and potty training well in foster care - has been doing great!

Vegas has adapted beautifully to life in a home, and is curious about everything! He enjoys watching TV with his foster, staring at himself in the mirror, and inspecting all of the new sounds and sensations. He hasn’t shown any fear or reactivity to the loud city noises, and enjoys long walks outside and playing in the park.

Vegas is a young boy who still has lots of puppy energy! He enjoys playing with toys, and loves playing with other dogs he has met. He would do great in a home with another dog companion(s). 🐶

While he can be shy at first, he quickly warms up to people and loves getting pets and cuddles 🫶

Vegas is currently in foster care in Manhattan, and is adoptable on the East Coast, USA. Adopters would need to travel to pick up.
