The class will be uniquely taught in both English and Spanish simultaneously. It’s more than a yoga session; it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in a multicultural environment.

🫶🏼 Life Update: Hey, everyone! 🌟 It’s , founder of Yogis Unidos.

Just wanted to share the excitement of my recent move to the West Coast, settling in Pasadena, California. Adjusting to the new environment has been a journey, and I’m eager to keep you all in the loop.

Leaving the East Coast meant leaving behind a part of the community we’ve built, but I’ve been pondering how Yogis Unidos can thrive out here. With your support, I believe we can make it happen! YU’s vision is to be a Global Latinx Community, sharing your stories and projects worldwide. We’re continuing our mission, offering scholarships (studio owners, let’s connect!).

The work ahead is vast, especially here in LA, but I’m thrilled to connect with more of our gente on the West Coast. This is just the beginning—Yogis Unidos is far from over. Let’s build something incredible together! 🌎✨

Whether you’re a returning part of our Y.U. family or new to our community, your presence brightens our world! ✨

We’re grateful to for shining a spotlight on our journey since 2019 as one of the Latinx accounts to follow. 🙏🏼

For those new here, we’re thrilled to have you join us and can’t wait to learn more about you and your incredible work.

In a nutshell, our founder sought Latinx yoga communities but found limited resources, inspiring her to create a space where like-minded individuals could connect. She reached out to .erikamaria, , (a founding member), and to be part of this “crazy” idea.

We swiftly built a platform where teachers worldwide connected. During the pandemic peak, we organized virtual classes with teachers from across the globe, offering support during the quarantine. Explore our library of classes on IG.

Our mission is to be a resource for the Latinx community, offering information about employment and connecting employers with employees. We stand for Accessibility, Affordability, and Inclusivity in wellness spaces. Recently, we awarded our first 200 Hr Yoga Teaching scholarship to , thanks to .

Our goal? More partnerships with studios! 🤞 Exciting plans for the next year await, and we can’t wait to connect with all of you.

This month get to know the Founders of Yogis Unidos🙏🏼 We'll with our Founder 💫
Stephanie is a 550 Hr NY/NJ based yoga Instructor Half Puerto Rican Half Ecuadorian originally from the Bronx. She found yoga during a trying time in her life 13 yrs ago and has been practicing ever since. Seeing the mental and physical benefits of yoga is what inspired her to teach in hopes of helping others just as her favorite instructors had done for her. Since then she has taught all across NYC has been featured in magazines like & and most recently a book highlighting NYC Yogis 💫
When she's not practicing or teaching she's being a Mom Boss to her 8 old daughter. She loves how much her daughter enjoys the practice of yoga because it's something she didn't get to experience as a child.🙏🏼
Stephanie had often felt the void of the Latinx Yoga Community as a student and as a teacher...she realize her importance as a Latinx teacher when Latinx students would stop her before or after class to tell her how they'd never taken a class with someone who looked liked them. This is was inspired Stephanie to create Yogis Unidos. In a wellness world where majority of the teachers look the same she wanted to break boundaries as POC and bring together the Latinx Community like they've never done before. That's when she reach out to .erikamaria & and Yogis Unidos started to take form.
She describes her classes as Accessible...Empowering...Fun & Challenging geared to helping you feel stronger everytime you step off the mat.🤸🏻‍♀️

Our ongoing mission revolves around nurturing our wellness community, and this scholarship is a testament to that commitment. It was inspired by our founder, , who embarked on her first training journey through GoFundMe seven years ago. She attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family and friends, enabling her to achieve numerous goals.

Yogis Unidos remains steadfast in championing Latinx wellness and professionals, and we are thrilled to provide this opportunity.
