We're honored to announce G4GC's partnership with activist, advocate, author and founder, Tarana Burke, who joins as a speaker at the 2026 G4GC Convening in Charlotte, NC!

For more than 25 years, Tarana has worked at the intersection of sexual violence and racial justice. Fueled by a commitment to interrupt sexual violence and other systemic inequalities that disproportionately impact marginalized communities—particularly Black women and girls—she has created and led numerous campaigns focused on increasing access to resources and support for impacted communities.

G4GC is excited to share that will be performing at the 2026 G4GC Convening: Investing in Ecosystems that Support Our Youth!

Chloé and Maud are a sister dancing, choreographing, and producing duo. Both internationally recognized tap dancers and Columbia University film graduates, Emmy Award-nominated Chloé and her sister Maud Arnold, are creating opportunities to elevate and celebrate the Art of Tap Dancing through Film, TV, and live events.

Their work has taken them worldwide to over 30 countries. Chloé’s choreography was recently featured in Jerry Seinfeld’s Unfrosted on Netflix, Apple TV+ musical film Spirited starring Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, and Octavia Spencer, as well as over 70 episodes of The Late Late Show with James Corden. Maud’s choreography was featured in Hulu’s hit Theater Camp starring Ben Platt, A24’s Y2K, and the hit comedy Freaky Tales.

Happy Anniversary to the 1Billion4BlackGirls Campaign! In the summer of 2020, as eight Black women and femme leaders working at the intersections of public policy, education, arts and culture were witnessing a void in investments that centered racial and gender equity, they launched the campaign: a 10-year philanthropic initiative to mobilize a $1B investment in Black girls and gender-expansive youth by 2030.

In its first five years, G4GC's Black Girl Freedom Fund has mobilized $10.6M to Black girl-serving organizations across the country, and hosted our annual Black Girl Freedom Week with co-investors across sectors committed to creating abundance for Black girls and gender-expansive youth.The collective work of the campaign continues in the face of political backlash, retrenchment in funding that centers Black folks, and disinterest in investing in the lives of Black girls and gender-expansive youth.

The vision of the campaign is still bright and efforts to mobilize investments continue. As we honor the fifth anniversary today, we thank our co-investors, donors, grantee partners, collaborators, and community members.

G4GC is seeking a strategic and equity-driven Senior Director of Operations to lead and strengthen its internal infrastructure. Reporting to the Vice President, this experienced leader will oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term systems that support G4GC's people, programs, and partnerships.

The Operations Department is the engine of the organization, ensuring that systems, infrastructure, and processes are aligned with G4GC's mission to resource organizations led by and for girls and gender-expansive youth of color.

Location: Brooklyn, NY (in-office 1-2 times a week)
