๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น PROUD OF OUR HERITAGE. PROUD OF WHO WE ARE. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

This Italian Heritage Month, our members proudly wear the New York State Courts Columbia Society Italian Heritage Patch โ€” a symbol of the generations that came before us and the traditions they passed down.

Our Italian heritage is more than a flag. Itโ€™s family, tradition, hard work, faith, pride, food, culture, and the values instilled in us by our parents, grandparents, and ancestors.

From Italy to New York and beyond, our families built lives, raised generations, served their communities, and helped shape the places we call home.

We wear this patch with pride because we know where we came from โ€” and we carry that heritage forward.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Italian by heritage. American by birth. Proud of both. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ REMEMBERING 9/11 โ€” HONORING THOSE WE LOST

The New York State Courts Columbia Society is proud to recognize our President, Sergeant Michael Primiano, for representing our Society and the New York State Unified Court System at the September 11th remembrance ceremony held at the Italian Consulate in New York City.

Sgt.Primiano had the solemn honor of reading the names of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, paying tribute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice and to every family forever changed by that tragic day.

This occasion was particularly meaningful as Sgt. Primiano represented not only the Columbia Society, but NYS Courts in an international capacity for the first timeโ€”a proud moment for our organization and for the members of the New York State Courts.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember.
We continue to honor.
And we will Never Forget.

25 YEARS. WE REMEMBER. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

September 11, 2001 โ€” a day that forever changed our nation.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken from us, the families who were forever changed, and the countless heroes who ran toward danger.

We remember the members of the NYPD, FDNY, PAPD, NYSC, EMS, military, and all of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We remember the survivors.
We remember the families.
We remember the courage.
We remember the sacrifice.

Twenty-five years have passed, but we will never forget.

May the fallen continue to live in our hearts, and may their courage and sacrifice never be forgotten.
