As we enter the final month of December 2025, we reflect on a year that was productive and full of impact. While we made meaningful progress, one important goal remains unmet.
Future of Mosholu Parkland (FOMP) brings together community members and local businesses to steward Mosholu Parkland and the green spaces that surround the parkway. Through volunteerism, team-building opportunities, and youth employment, we work to keep our neighborhood clean, vibrant, and growing.
To continue serving the community—and to provide paid opportunities for young and more —FOMP must be able to operate as a paid organization. Our goal has always been to build a model that is supported by the community while we continue pursuing grants for programs and projects. An organization is powered by people, and sustainability means taking care of those who do the work.
Lasting change cannot rely on volunteers alone.
