Okay, we are in the home stretch of our second silent auction for a Miracle for Kayden. We need to make room for a batch of new items coming soon when we announce our third auction, so we are reducing the opening bids on a few items that need a little love. We have also extended the entire auction 24 hours to March 2 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Art & Photography Collectors Unite…for Kayden!

I am honored and thankful to have so many talented friends who are helping us raise money for Kayden’s growing medical costs. Some of the world’s most renowned photojournalists, sports photographers, and fine-art photographers have graciously offered limited edition, signed prints from their portfolios for our auction. They are (collectively) today’s Items of the Day.

Please visit Kayden’s auction site for specific details about each photograph (and photographer). If you collect photographs or have an appreciation for great photography, you need to at least take a look at what’s on the auction block from these very talented people.

Peter Read Miller has been a staff and contract photographer for Sports Illustrated for more than 35 years where his images graced the cover more than 100 times. Visit Peter’s website and pick your favorite photo and Peter will print it (and sign it) for you himself.

Colin Finlay is one of the world’s foremost documentary photographers and has received the prestigious Pictures of the Year awards 6 times. His award-winning image, “Iceland,” will be custom printed as a limited edition, 13-19-inch print on archival paper and signed by the Colin.

Heather McClintock has spent years in countries experiencing conflict and capturing every aspect of it with her camera. Her work in Uganda covers the conflict from the perspective of the children, including this beautiful image she has donated to Kayden’s cause.

Barbara Bordnick is an internationally renowned portrait and fashion photographer whose photographs are in permanent collections around the world including the George Eastman House in Rochester, NY and the Polaroid Collection in Massachusetts and Vienna. Her collection of flowers is exquisite and one of them could be hanging in your home.

Chris Rainier is a National Geographic Society explorer and documentary photographer who is internationally recognized for his documentation of endangered cultures and traditional languages around the world. His beautiful portrait of an Eagle Hunter in Mongolia captures one of only 300 Eagle Hunters left in the world.

And we’re off! Welcome to ROUND 2 of our “Bid for a Miracle” silent auction for 3-year old, Kayden Noe. Thanks to you, Toni-Lynn and Kyle Noe (Kayden’s parents) have raised nearly $40,000 through direct donations to their Facebook fundraiser, and our previous silent auction, but they have a long way to go.

Today, Kayden will be receiving his 39th “dive” in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber in New Orleans. This will be his last dive before heading back to Arizona after two very long months of oxygen treatments.

This has been such an important first step in healing Kayden’s brain. When Kayden first arrived in New Orleans, he was in a coma. He is now in a semi-conscious state. “Small improvements,” admits his mom, “but we will not stop until we have won this war.” The next step in Kayden’s very long journey to recovery is to begin stem cell and laser treatments in Florida and Mexico, which means more doctor’s visits and increasing medical bills.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you enjoyed the holidays with friends and family. I wanted to send a quick note to thank everyone who participated in our FIRST online silent auction to benefit Kayden Noe and his growing medical expenses. The auction is now closed and all winning bidders have been notified. We are incredibly grateful for all your thoughts, prayers, donations, and bids.

Over the next week or two we will coordinate and post our next silent auction, complete with new items. I will also post updates about Kayden's progress with his hyperbaric oxygen treatments, which he is currently undergoing in New Orleans, thanks in large part to your generosity. His parents, Toni-Lynn and Kyle are right by his side every step of the way.

Hey Guys. Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays! Just a reminder that there are TWO DAYS left in Kayden Noe's "Bid for a Miracle" silent auction. Take a look at what's on the auction block and make a bid...or share the auction link with others.

Another silent auction will go live with new items shortly after the New Year and additional items for our next auction are greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts, prayers, donations, bids, and auction items. Kayden has had seven hyperbaric oxygen treatments so far and is responding quite well to them. He will have a total of 40 "dives" (treatments) over the next 45+ days. I will continue to post updates.
