Pregame Conference: 1. Make sure you have one (Talk about more than your commute). 2. The Referee should tell the crew what s/he is going to cover in the Captains Meeting 3. Be mindful of those instructions and enforce them. 4. Warmup/Stretch. Often, the first play is a break to the basket with a shot and contact (Were you in position?). 5. Work Hard/Be Professional. - Have a Great Game!

Game Management 101: Remember to make the table part of your crew. ALWAYS introduce yourself to the table crew. Ask their names. Ask what their job is at the table. Ask if they have done that job before. Address each person individually, giving instructions on how to handle their job. BE POLITE, BE DIRECT, BE CLEAR. Finish with, “Are there any questions” and answer them if there are. Let the crew know if there is a problem during the game, they should get your attention and that you’ll come over and help them sort it out. Don’t forget to sign the Official Book. You should also sign the visitor book. Wish the Table Crew a “Good Game”.
