Firstly thank you for your contribution to Akp Super Senpais. Sadly, this is the end of our journey in Akp Super Senpais. We had worked together as a team to achieve everything we had done since the beginning. This is the project that brought us together to become friends, colleagues and teammates. Last but not least, our duty as senpai is never ending because there will be many kouhais (juniors) that need our help and advice in the future. And them too, who will become senpais and continue this path or start one of their own. Finally, we hope the best for all the 3rd batch Asia Kakehashi students that are going to Japan this year. またね! 💕

“Ichigo Ichie” “One time, one encounter” Make the most out of every opportunity you get. We hope that whatever comes your way, you would be willing to make that leap and end up where you’re supposed to be.

Learning a new language is a journey and with every step, you get closer to your destination. Japanese is hard! All of us, senpais, have been through it and are still learning. So don’t give up and soon, you’ll be speaking like a native. またね!(Mata Ne!) See you!

The snow and people in Asahikawa, Hokkaido combine to construct the most unforgettable parts of my exchange experience in Japan.
Snow is the undoubted representative of Hokkaido’s winter. Trees, bushes, roads, everything in sight would be swallowed into pure white on a heavily snowy day – which was quite common during my stay in Asahikawa. On those days, I usually went out, breathed the chill air, made a snowman, or visited the Snow Crystal Museum with several friends.
I made friends both inside and outside of school. In school, though often too shy to speak English, my classmates tried their best to talk with me and help me with my “broken Japanese.” Out of school, I met various exchange students from all over the world as well as Japanese high schoolers who were interested in cultural exchanges.
In spite of language barriers and cultural differences, together we built beautiful memories and long-lasting friendships – I believe this is exactly the meaning of Asia Kakehashi Project.

A Book with 6 chapters

Hello, I’m glad to sharing my exchange experience with you all. :D My name is Angarag Munkhbayar, I’m from Mongolia where located at Central Asia. I’m 17 years old, 2nd batch of Asia kakehashi project.

The six months that I spent at japan were the most memorable and unforgettable time in my life.
My placement was the city called Sendai.
First month, I was new to this city, so traveling through city was great decision.

I remember that I was completely surprised that my host school had seven floor. In Mongolia, it’s not so common.

One of the major reasons that I was surprised was that my host school had so many clubs that I can join. It was little bit tough to choose the proper one, but basketball and music club seemed interesting to me.

I think if someone staying in foreign countries, there’s must be culture shocks. However Mongolia and japan both have some similar culture and lifestyles, but most of them were different. For example, Japanese jokes are not same as Mongolian, it depends on the difference between two languages. Also communication between friends was little bit different, so one the most difficult thing was to understand how they communicate to each other.

AKP project is the great way to experience this valuable experience. It will help me when I go to university of foreign countries. In one word, it’s the beginning of all things, perhaps it would be the first step to understand the different cultures, so it helps us to become global citizens.

花🌸🌸

Hello. It’s Vathana. I was placed in Osaka, also known as a place where the dream come true. Aside from having fun going to school and being with my Japanese friends, I’ve also had an amazing time playing volleyball as well as practicing calligraphy. Honestly speaking, I didn’t find these two subjects interesting that much at first. I’d say it’s because I don’t have any experiences in these nor do I have many interests, but not until my Japanese teacher praised my Calligraphy’s works. My first piece was ‘花’. The process was hard and boring because it was my first time and I had to re-write over and over again till it met my sensei’s requirement which demands a lot of hard works and patient. I eventually got praised by my sensei and my friends for my
‘花’ piece which is the greatest source of motivation for me to try harder in learning and practicing calligraphy.
Thank to Calligraphy, I’ve learned how to be patient and appreciate art more. Moreover, I also found it amazing how I could convey my feeling through it as well so I highly recommend everyone to try Japanese calligraphy.
