Despite this outcome, District 30 showed up for David. We know all too well the leadership of our loved union needs to change and it can begin at all levels. David showed us that. He was the underdog and we all love to see the underdog win. This is not the end. It is a very good beginning. The people have spoken.

Today was the last D30 Literacy Lead meeting for me for the school year. Grateful for the experience and the learning. It’s an extra bonus when I get to see people in the schools where these meetings have been. What’s better than getting to have lunch with one of the best Chapter Leaders in District 30? 🙌🏽❤️
