HARLEM, WHAT A DAY WE HAD!

Five bands, 20 kids dancing their hearts out, and YOU — the Harlem community — basking in the October sunshine.

Harlem was alive with sound, laughter, good vibes and, yes, JOY!

A special thank-you to our sponsors at Barawine, Sotto Casa and Settepane for keeping us fed, and to all our friends and supporters who believe in this ambitious project: bringing African excellence together with the Harlem diaspora.

What a turnout! Our community came out in force, joined by friends from across all five boroughs and some very special dignitaries. It was a beautiful reminder of what happens when music brings people together.

Huge thanks to the entire HMA team, our volunteers, and Chris and his crew for making the sound happen. None of this happens without you.

Harlem, we’d love to be back next year, if you’ll have us!

One more chance to get your African on.
