HRCF TAKES TRUMP ADMIN TO COURT ON BEHALF OF TRANS FEDERAL WORKS AND FAMILY MEMBERS:

Yesterday, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation and the law firm Correia & Puth filed a class action lawsuit in federal court against the Trump administration's Office of Personnel Management for prohibiting health insurance coverage for gender-affirming care under the Federal Employee Health Benefits and Postal Service Health Benefits plans. The lawsuit pushes back against the administration’s obsessive attacks against the transgender community and LGBTQ+ healthcare while fighting for the dignity that federal workers and their families deserve. “Healthcare access should never be weaponized to advance discrimination,” said HRCF President Kelley Robinson. “And denial of coverage for critical healthcare based simply on who you are blatantly violates the rights of all of us.” Read more about the lawsuit in the Guardian.
