6 Tips for Zoom Job Interviews:
1. Test your technology. Plug in your computer. Keep your phone handy to dial into the meeting if you lose internet.
2. Dress to impress. Wear the same professional clothes for a Zoom interview as you would for an in-person interview.
3. Organize your background. Clear the background behind you. Find a quiet location.
4. Adjust your lighting. Aim light from in front of you, so your face is brightly lit. Do not sit with your back to a window, or else you may appear as a shadow.
5. Position your camera. Look directly at your we**am to show eye contact. You can put your computer on some books, so you are looking straight at the camera.
6. Smile! Practice in front of a mirror. Even better, practice with a friend on Zoom before the interview.
