Wishing everyone Happy Thanksgiving 💛

We are grateful for the opportunity to support our community this holiday season. With the help of Long Beach High School, we provided 30 Thanksgiving meals to local Long Beach families.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this effort possible. We are proud to continue our mission of giving back and strengthening our community.

This Christmas Eve, the MDCF was proud to give back to our Long Beach community by donating meals to the local Long Beach soup kitchen. In times of celebration, it’s important to remember those in need and support each other. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help and encourage everyone to find ways to give back this year—whether through time, resources, or simply showing kindness.

About the Foundation

Welcome to the Michael Diamond Charitable Foundation’s page!

We established the Foundation this year in honor of Mike Diamond, a larger-than-life figure in our community. Mike, who lost his daughter Jenea to su***de in 2017, was a 9/11 First Responder who passed away last October as a result of complications from cancer.

The Foundation’s goal is to support three terrific charitable causes close to Mike’s heart: (1) the purchase and training of service dogs for veterans of the Armed Forces; (2) the Long Island Crisis Center’s su***de-prevention services; and (3) the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Fund.

We are going to meet this goal by hosting an annual golf outing and dinner, where we will raise funds by selling entry fees to golfers and diners, by offering sponsorships to local businesses and members of the community, and by holding raffles and silent auctions for donated items. The first annual golf outing will be on Thursday, September 12, 2019, at the Lawrence Yacht & Country Club. We could not be more excited for our first big event to support the three great causes that we mentioned above. Golfers purchased all 144 spots in the outing almost immediately, local business and individuals scooped up all of our major sponsorships, and we’re fast on our way to selling out the dinner.
