BEEP BEEEEPPP! Myrtle Ave Touch A Truck is always a good time for the little ones! Thank you Myrtle Ave Bklyn Partnership for putting on a fantastic event with balloons, face painting, music, and of course… many kinds of trucks! If you haven’t had time to check it out, there’s always next year.

Good morning ONLY to the who put their trash where it actually belongs. Every tree bed on Myrtle has magically become a garbage can. SMDH. Shoutout to NYC Parks and Myrtle Ave Bklyn Partnership, who will inevitably have to clean up the mess.

Heroes don’t always have capes… sometimes they’re three Navy Yard employees armed with shovels, chipping away at ice like it personally offended them. While the rest of us tiptoe around the sidewalks, these folks are out there doing back‑breaking work one scoop at a time.

But seriously… in 2026, why are three humans out there shoveling an ice rink by hand instead of using, say, a machine built for this exact job?

Respect to the shovel‑wielding heroes who are now attempting to shovel from
Wegmans all the way down to Carlton Ave.
