It was truly an honor to host Mariëlle Vavier (the brilliant and compassionate Deputy Mayor of International Affairs at The Hague Municipality) and long time collaborator and friend Diana Eggleston (serving at the Municipality of The Hague as Special Envoy for the International City of Peace & Justice) at Impact Hub New York Metropolitan Area. Thank you, as always, for your spirit of openness and collaboration.

We organized a small group at the hub to exchange about our transatlantic innovation ecosystems aligned to accelerate the #2030 Sustainable Development Goals, touching on subjects such as partnership development, inclusion, sustainability, investment, and social impact.

A big thank you to the INSPIRING change makers from our ecosystem who shared about their work and the issues they're tackling: Sara Schmitt, Joy Lau, Eva Forde, Julie Thibault-Dury, Jyoti Aggarwala, Nyasha Laing, Mohammed Faisal, Barbara Ann Michaels, and Liv Varghese - organized and moderated by John-Paul Parmigiani

We are thrilled to host ID Genève, from Impact Hub Geneva, as they begin scaling across the US and beyond! Today, we joined them in celebrating the announcement of their latest $2mil seed round, including a lead investment from Leonardo DiCaprio.

ID Genève is an award-winning luxury watchmaker that designs and manufactures mechanical timepieces rooted in circular economy principles. Their watches are made with 100% recycled steel and solar steel, refurbished mechanical movements, straps made of green waste, and 100% industrially compostable materials. They launched in 2020 at Impact Hub Zürich.
