Thank you to Katrina at New York Life Insurance Company for coordinating a small event with her office team. She and her team made 20 cards filled with love and kindness and encouraging words for the residents of Alexandria Rehab & Nursing Center in Virginia.

Katrina remarked that her staff thoroughly enjoyed this volunteer opportunity, and they’ll be sure to do this again!

This month celebrates not only Mother’s Day but also Memorial Day. We look forward to seeing how you incorporate these themes into your cards. Dylan hand made 42 absolutely beautiful cards for nursing home residents, as part of her volunteer hours for National Honor Society. Everything from the blooming spring flowers 🌸 to the whimsical butterflies 🦋 to the sweet, uplifting notes are bursts of pure sunshine. ☀️ The love and effort she poured into crafting these cards is evident. Dylan was so thrilled that her cards would reach the residents at Sandstone Heights in Utah, where the residents must have been so delighted to receive these paper hugs! 🥰

Join us in showing gratitude to Dylan and her brilliant cardmaking efforts. 👏
It’s been amazing to see our youth so involved in serving their communities this year– not to mention choosing Caring by Card to showcase their talents and efforts by uplifting the lives of nursing home residents.
