Mother Teresa devoted her life to serving others with compassion, believing that even the smallest acts of love could make extraordinary differences. Her legacy reminds us that kindness doesn’t have to be grand to change someone’s life. ❤️

A few sentences may only take minutes to write, but their impact can last much longer.

Every handwritten card we send reminds a nursing home resident that someone is thinking of them. That’s the beauty of kindness: it continues long after the moment has passed. 💌🌟

George Sand was a famous 19th-century French novelist, essayist, and memoirist. She lived from 1804 to 1876 and became known for her bold use of a male pen name, her choice to wear men's clothing, and her unconventional personal life.

May this story and quote inspire you and those around you to make one brave and kind action for someone else today.

At Caring by Card, our mission works to lighten the days of those that cannot themselves.

Kennedy Turner of Blueprint Events, LLC () reached out to Caring by Card and asked us to partner with her for an event she was planning for BetterLife (BetterLife Insurance) a not-for-profit life insurance company in Nebraska.
The card-making project took place during the BetterLife Leadership Summit, a multiday gathering designed to strengthen leadership skills and unite BetterLife Member Leaders. Participants gathered from across the country and, among other activities, made cards, wrote personal notes, and enjoyed a creative opportunity to serve others through our project! They made and sent 60 cards to residents of Highland Park Care Center in Alliance, Nebraska.

Participants shared:
“I loved the card service project! I will take that back to my local community.”

“The service project was very rewarding.”

“The project was so popular. It was a great way for us to be creative and sit down and network with each other in a fun way.”

The Life Enrichment Coordinator at Highland Park Care Center, shared this positive feedback with us:
“We handed cards out, sat and read cards to residents and left some on their dining tables. Residents loved the beautiful coloring, lovely handwriting and warm messages. The cards were a big hit! Residents were touched by the timing of a beautiful summer greeting.”

Have you considered getting your company involved? If you’re interested, shoot us an email at [email protected] with the Subject Line “company card-making event” and we’ll find you a nursing home to send cards to!

As a small nonprofit, donations go a long way in helping advance our mission of uplifting the lives of the elderly, sick and disabled. We thank Better Life for their gracious donation and supporting the cause!

If you or your company would like donate to help support Caring by Card, you can do so through our Go Fund me link in our Bio up above or on our website. Also, check with your Human Resources department if your company offers matching donations. Common programs include Benevity, YourCause and CyberGrants!

A heartfelt thank-you to Sue Davis from Phoenix, Arizona for creating and sending 100 beautiful handmade cards to residents at Regency Heights Nursing Home in Michigan! 💌❤️

When asked what inspires her to make cards, Sue shared:
"What inspired me to create cards is the hope that I put a smile on someone's face when they open my cards!" ✨

That simple hope is exactly what Caring by Card is all about. Every card is a reminder to a resident that they are remembered, valued, and cared for. Thank you, Sue, for sharing your kindness across the country and helping brighten so many lives. 🌟
