The last 3 months have seemed like a whirlwind.
Covid-19 and pervasive racism have flooded our news channels, social media feeds and our minds.

We are being faced with stressors that impact us on structural (limited resources), interpersonal (disruption of shared resources) and individual (compromised coping) levels.

To combat symptoms of anxiety, depression and PTSD, is pleased to present our Weekly healing call.

By the way if you don't know what a Karen is please let me know. I will be writing a post about my own journey in and out of Karendom, why I sarcastically chose the name for this group based on the experience I've had in the past six months observing how they treat people who they perceive as being beneath them. So just poking fun. In the meantime google Arizona Karen and you will get a quick education.

Hi Everyone I had to make some changes to our event for this coming Friday. We will now meet at The Frederick Douglass Sculpture at the corner of Central Park North and Central Park West - have a brief rally - then walk a very short distance to the Harriet Tubman Memorial. I know some people have already responded to the original event but think the changes in route will make it much better! Hope to see you there.
