Meet Ben, mastermind behind 3 Dishes. Three years ago, he left his finance career to build a business based on the food he grew up on in Taiwan: rice, one protein, and veggie sides.

Simple, balanced, made with care. That’s the philosophy behind 3 Dishes, inspired by 三菜一湯 (“Three Dishes, One Soup”), and inspired by Ben’s healthcare recovery journey in 2023.

Now, he’s popping up at The Hub (115 Bowery) this Thursday, June 18 from 11am–2pm, so come through for your share of Taiwanese comfort food. Check the link in bio for details!

This playoff season has been a masterclass in what New York City is all about…community. From outdoor watch parties in the parks to packed bars, small businesses turning on their TVs to watch along, and strangers cheering side by side, the whole city is showing up together.

During this past AAPI month, we felt that team spirit firsthand, partnering with MSG and the Junior Knicks to host a youth clinic. Thanks to them, the community got to experience this city’s team live & closeup and we expect nothing less for Game 4 tonight. 加油 Knicks, 加油!!! 🗽🧡💙

From snacks after school to pottery on the wheel, the corner of Henry and Madison has always been a gathering place. Meet Jon and Tra, the co-owners of Slo Slo Studio, who built a dream ceramics studio with their own hands, hired locally, and opened their doors with one goal: to create a space where Chinatown’s artists, creatives, and community can truly belong. Their story is one of passion, persistence, and the magic of a neighborhood that shows up for its own.

Grief is the natural response to loss of all kinds, but we are rarely given space in our everyday lives to acknowledge it. Join us for an intimate talk with grief coach and author Charlene Lam (), where we’ll debunk myths, break cultural taboos, and make room for what we’ve been carrying, together.

Bring a memento of someone or something you’re mourning to add to The Grief Gallery® pop-up installation.

📅 Wednesday, June 3rd | 6–8PM
