ERAN - Emotional First Aid in Israel

This week, ERAN's CEO, David Koren, and Dr. Shiri Daniels, ERAN's National Professional Director, participated in the IFOTES conference held in Budapest, Hungary, under the title: "The Human Touch – The Power of Presence".

The conference, which brought together professionals and volunteers from emotional support organizations worldwide, addressed one of the most significant questions of our time: how to maintain human connection in an era of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and accelerated changes in the world of communication.

During the conference, there were lectures, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions on emotional support, innovation, volunteering, mental health, and the importance of values such as empathy, compassion, and listening—values that have been at the heart of ERAN's work for over 55 years.

Participation in the conference provides an opportunity to learn from the experience of leading global organizations, share insights from Israeli practice, and strengthen international collaborations to promote emotional support and make it accessible to everyone in need.
