For the first time, we can read Mikao Usui’s actual teachings.

For years, Reiki has been taught as a collection of techniques.

But when you look at the original material Usui left his students, something very different becomes clear.

Reiki was taught as a method of training the practitioner.

Most of the system has nothing to do with treating others. It is about developing a stable inner condition through daily practice.

URGENT - Immediate Action Needed- Massachusetts Needs our Help!

The Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure is about to vote on S261 An Act Regulating Alternative Healing Therapies. If we do not take action there is a REAL posibilty Reiki will be regulated. This is serious and we must take action.

CALL TO ACTION

If letters in opposition or calls in opposition to S261 to the Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure members are not received, this bill will be voted favorably out of the Committee and sent to the Senate for a vote. The Senate will without a doubt pass this bill, and the Governor, Maura Healy, who had filed a previous version of the licensure bill will sign it into law. If this bill is passed in MA, it will be duplicated in other states.

Today we celebrate the birthday of Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki, on 15 August 1865 in the village of Taniai in Japan.

Announcing the 40th Anniversary Collectors Edition reprint of Reiki: The Grey Book, printed by Alice Takata Furumoto after the death of her mother as a gift to the 22 Masters that Hawayo Takata had initiated. https://reikigreybook.com

This 2022 limited edition of 1500 copies is an exact reprint of the original Grey Book, half in English and half in Japanese. It is printed on the same paper in the exact scale as the original 100 copies from 1982. This project is a gift to the Reiki world from the estate of Phyllis Lei Furumoto.

For the website, which is absolutely free to the world, https://reikigreybook.com, The Office of the Grandmaster (OGM) sponsored the translation of the Japanese portion of the book into English, and thanks to their generosity the full text of the Grey Book has been translated into seven other languages, including Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. On this beautiful day, Reiki blessings abounded! Inspiration to give Reiki, love and kindness were spontaneously present.
