Last year we had an amazing turn out and everyone had a blast. We focused on providing funds for the youth and in turn, we played as such. In the bio is our link to register for this year's Field Day.

After 5 Beautiful Years, we have relished in your support and belief behind HOODS. With this milestone, we wish to return the love. Come out, eat, drink and play with your loved ones and our team. All we ask is that you register accordingly.

HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH from HOODS UNITED!!

Though we aim to show love and support year-round, the month of February is dedicated to celebrating the history, culture and contributions of Black people, while looking forward to the achievements and changes to come!

Due to unexpected changes in scheduling, as well as extensive delays in shipment of essential items, we regrettably have to postpone our HOLIDAY HARVEST drive and raffle. All items already collected will be donated to larger organizations at this time. Donors will be contacted in the upcoming days to receive automatic gift as a thank you for their efforts.

Happy Holidays from HOODS United to all of you! As we all know, the days are getting shorter and colder, but luckily the spirit of giving is everlasting in our communities! Please join us for this year's "HOLIDAY HARVEST" from December 14th - December 24th, as we gather the essentials for the less fortunate in NYC this winter season.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, we are not accepting used items at this time, but we welcome all new and cash donations where possible to make up for these changes! (Lightly worn clothing and coats may be accepted if CLEAN and placed in bags.)

🌟 All donors for the HOLIDAY HARVEST will automatically be entered into a raffle to win prizes from local BLACK-OWNED BUSINESSES! 🌟

With increasing budget cuts in our NYC school districts, the cost of school supplies for the classroom often fall on the parents and teachers who simply can't afford it. The annual school supply drive aims to ease some of the burden faced by school supply costs so students can focus on having a successful year.

Due to the ongoing pandemic and social distancing guidelines in effect, HOODS United has connected with parents and educators to assess what tools would be needs for classroom and distance learning this school year.

We are asking for supplies of all kinds...whether it's pencils, pens, backpacks, calculators, masks, wipes...WE'LL ACCEPT IT! The goal is to fill as many backpacks as we can so let's help students in need start the new year right!

Great News! The Summer Youth Employment Program, which was suspended due to COVID-19 and budget cuts, has returned with a 5-week virtual program called SYEP Summer Bridge for ages 15-24. Participants will be paid while learning career building skills in prospective fields. Keep in mind only 35,000 applicants will be selected so act soon if interested! Applications will be available from July 9th to July 15th at application.nycsyep.com. GOOD LUCK!
