Thousands of 4-page brochures entitled, 'Imperial College President Alice Gast: A Serial Bully and Corporate Predator' are being distributed to thousands of educators, students, the public and media outlets throughout London and beyond according to a spokesperson for the Let's Beat Chevron Campaign based in New York City. The brochure makes a strong case that Ms. Gast should not serve another day as the face of Imperial College unless she immediately resigns from Chevron Corporation's board of directors.
"'Accusations against Ms. Gast for bullying employees on Imperial College's campus are serious but pale in comparison to her direct involvement in policymaking for scofflaw oil giant Chevron," said campaign director Ray Rogers. The brochure reports that Ms. Gast has served on Chevron's 12-member board of directors since 2012 and described her pay of $375,654 from Chevron in 2020 as "a nice sum for a side job.'"
