H.E. Shama Obaed Islam, MP, Accepts Invitation as Chief Guest at 5th Global Business Summit in New York
We are delighted to announce that H.E. Shama Obaed Islam, MP, Hon’ble State Minister for Foreign Affairs, has graciously accepted our invitation to attend as Chief Guest at the upcoming 5th Global Business Summit in New York.
Business America Magazine had a productive and engaging meeting with H.E. Shama Obaed Islam, MP, to discuss Bangladesh’s international engagement, economic opportunities and our upcoming initiatives.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Enamul Haque Enam, Managing Editor; Sumaiya Zaman, Executive Editor; and Shafiqul Islam, Marketing Director, Business America Magazine.
Discussions focused on our upcoming special publications featuring distinguished Bangladeshi entrepreneurs, business leaders and global achievers, as well as a special interview initiative highlighting Bangladesh–U.S. bilateral relations on the occasion of the 250th Anniversary of American Independence.
The meeting also highlighted the growing role of Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) in Bangladesh’s economic development, particularly through investment, knowledge and technology transfer, entrepreneurship, employment generation and stronger international business networks.
The upcoming 5th Global Business Summit in New York was also discussed as an important platform to connect Bangladeshi businesses, NRB investors and global stakeholders and to strengthen Bangladesh’s presence in the international business community.
