We also hold close in our hearts all survivors of domestic violence-your strength does not go unseen.

Together, we showed what compassion, unity, and love looks like.

Thank you for standing with us. 💜

Happy Easter from MUADV ✝️

He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Jesus Christ is resurrected from the dead—defeating sin, conquering death, and bringing us the promise of new life.

Today we celebrate hope, redemption, and the power of His love. May this Easter remind you that no matter how dark things may seem, light and life are always possible through Him.

In observance of this holy day, we will be stepping away from the platform to spend time with our families and dive deeper into our faith. There will be no Sunday Live today, but we will be back and ready for action come Monday.

We hope you all have a safe and wonderful Easter weekend! Blessed be to all!

He is risen indeed. Alleluia! 🤍

SHE SURVIVED THE ASSAULT… BUT SHE DIDN’T SURVIVE WHAT CAME AFTER.

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING

A 25-year-old woman in Spain is gone.

Not because of a disease.
Not because of age.

But after surviving a brutal assault, a devastating fall that left her paralyzed, and years of unbearable physical and psychological pain… she was approved for euthanasia.

Let that sink in.

She was living in a state-run facility when she was assaulted.

After that, everything changed.

She jumped from a fifth-floor window trying to escape the pain she was carrying. She survived — but the fall left her paralyzed, living with chronic pain, loss of mobility, and a body that would never be the same.

And the trauma didn’t stop there.

She was left carrying severe mental health conditions — PTSD, depression, and more — all rooted in what had been done to her.

And instead of a system that fully caught her…

She reached a point where she believed there was no way forward.

After a long legal battle, her request for assisted death was approved.

She died on March 26.

And here’s the part we need to say out loud:

Sexual assault IS violence.
It IS abuse.
It IS part of the same cycle we talk about every day.

Because what happened to her didn’t end with the assault.

It followed her.
It changed her body.
It changed her mind.
It changed her future.

This is what happens when trauma isn’t fully met with the level of care, protection, and long-term support survivors actually need.

A 25-year-old should not reach a place where death feels like the only relief.

She should have been surrounded by:
Care.
Advocacy.
Healing.
Support that never let go.

This isn’t just one story.

This is what happens when violence leaves damage that systems aren’t equipped — or willing — to fully carry with survivors.

If this hits close to home, you are not alone.

Clarification on Randy Zimmerman’s Plea Deal

We want to provide a clear and accurate understanding of the plea agreement currently being discussed:

Randy Zimmerman is facing two charges:
1. First-Degree Murder
2. First-Degree Murder (Past Pattern of Domestic Abuse)

Both charges carry a maximum sentence of 30 years to life under Minnesota law.

What remains critical—and deeply concerning—is that it will be up to the judge’s discretion whether these sentences are served:
• Concurrently (at the same time), or
• Consecutively (back-to-back)

This decision will ultimately determine whether the total time served reflects one life sentence or effectively two.

We continue to stand with the victims and their families, advocating for accountability, transparency, and justice that fully reflects the severity of this case.

The situation & injustices that birthed .

Not awareness—reality.
Not one case—a pattern.

Lives taken. Families shattered. Communities shattered.

And a system being questioned… again.

This is why we speak.

This is why we push.

This is why we don’t stop.

Because it shouldn’t take a headline to be heard.
