🍎✏️ This year, we did things a little differently..

Instead of simply asking teachers for their wish lists, we reached out to the schools in the communities we serve and asked them to introduce us to their new teachers.
We wanted to shine a little extra light on teachers who are just beginning their journey, those in their first three years of teaching, because we know those first few years can be exciting, overwhelming, rewarding, and A LOT all at once!
And honestly… we had NO idea just how many new teachers are joining classrooms in our area! 😳🍎

These teachers are stepping into their classrooms, building their very first routines, creating spaces where children will learn and grow, and often spending their own money to make sure their students have what they need.
So we wanted to help.
We were incredibly grateful to be able to purchase items from their classroom wish lists to help stock their classrooms and give these amazing educators a little head start as they prepare for the 2026–2027 school year! 🎒📚✏️

To every new teacher who will walk into a classroom this year...
THANK YOU.
Thank you for choosing a profession that shapes lives. Thank you for showing up for your students. Thank you for pouring your heart into kids who may never fully realize just how much you did for them.
And to everyone who helped make this possible, THANK YOU. Your support allows us to do more than talk about helping our community. It allows us to actually SHOW UP for it. ❤️

We're excited to announce that Volusia County Schools will continue participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the upcoming school year!

✅ Breakfast and lunch will be provided at NO COST to ALL students enrolled at participating Volusia County Schools—no meal application required.

Healthy students are better learners, and we're proud to ensure every student has access to nutritious, delicious meals each school day.
