We're gathering items for the silent auction and gift certificate pull at Strike the Stigma on November 14, and we'd love your help!
We're collecting themed baskets and gift cards worth $25 or more. Local restaurants, salons, experiences, and handmade goods all make great additions.

**NEXT TUESDAY - OCT 27th**
Family, friends and anyone who has lost a loved one to su***de are invited to attend the monthly meeting of the Su***de Grief Support Group. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 27th beginning at 7:00 PM and will be held at the Duck Cup Memorial Fund building located at 105 Central Avenuue South in New Prague. No fee or pre-registration is needed.

Strike the Stigma is coming to the lanes!
Join us ๐’๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ at Strike Force Bowl in New Prague for a no-tap bowling tournament.
Knock down 9 on your first ball and it counts as a strike, so beginners and league bowlers can both have a great time.
Pick your session: Noon, 2:30 or 5:30pm (check-in 30 minutes prior).
Each session bowls for its own prizes. *Entry dues include shoe rental if needed*

Plus a silent auction and gift certificate pull. Every registration supports prevention education in our schools and communities.

Sack the Stigma Night was a win on and off the field. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’œ

Both New Prague Trojan Football teams beat Rochester John Marshall, with Varsity finishing 35-13. Congratulations to our 9th grade and Varsity players, coaches, and everyone who came out to cheer them on.

Thank you to the players, coaches, parents, and fans for making the evening so meaningful. Every t-shirt purchased and every raffle ticket bought helps bring more mental health advocate speakers into more communities and schools. That's conversation, connection, and prevention, carried further because this community showed up.

Thank you to the New Prague Football Youth Association and the Trojan Football program for partnering with us. We're proud of what we did together.

๐€ ๐ง๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐ญ. ๐Ÿ’œ

Last night, we had the privilege of spending a couple hours with an amazing group of 5th grade Girl Scouts from our community. We talked emotions. We talked anxiety. We talked coping skills. And these girls? They showed up with questions, with honesty, and with the kind of active participation that reminded us why this work matters.

Prevention doesnโ€™t start in high school. It starts when young people learn to name what theyโ€™re feeling, understand that anxiety is normal, and get tools to care for themselves and each other.

Special thanks to nurse Shayla Kay with Inner Balance Energy for co-facilitating this time and bringing her expertise in breathwork, mindfulness, and the science that connects our bodies and minds. Having partners who understand that mental health is whole-person health makes all the difference.

To the Girl Scouts: youโ€™re going to do great things. Keep asking questions. Keep showing up. Keep taking care of yourselves.
