Acknowledging our very own Soror Dr. Carolyn Moseley, 17th Madame Supreme Basileus and esteemed member of Rho Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.®, who delivered an impactful virtual presentation entitled, “The Importance of Voting: Nurses Empowered Through the Ballot.”

On Thursday, May 14, 2026, Sigma Phi Chapter hosted its Annual Nurses Week Celebration and Program at the Doris Miller YMCA, where Soror Dr. Moseley inspired attendees by highlighting the critical role nurses play in advocacy, civic engagement, and shaping the future of healthcare through the power of voting.

Rho Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.® was honored to serve our community in partnership with The Balm In Gilead Greater Health & Wellness Ministry of Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church. 💚💛

Sorors provided education focused on:
• Kidney disease awareness
• The importance of routine blood pressure monitoring
• Healthy weight management and Body Mass Index (BMI) education

Community members also received blood pressure screenings and weight checks to help increase awareness of overall health and wellness.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and allowed us the opportunity to provide education, encouragement, and support as we continue our commitment to “Service for Humanity.” 🩺✨
