Highlights from our first week of Summer Camp: Creative Writing & Illustration ✨Students brainstormed in writing groups, outlined, illustrated, and hand-sewed their very own bound books. Novels, comics, scripts, picture books, poems — we are so impressed with their creativity!

We also had a special visit from , where campers recorded their own podcasts!

The week ended with a special family book reading 🎉
Swipe to see the magic they made. 👉📖

Bywater Midsummer Mardi Gras Parade Camp🎷We had an absolute blast with our friends from ! Huge thanks for bringing the energy and the morning dance parties — y’all had us parading through the Tigermen Den in style! 🎶

After jamming, dancing, and answering questions about music history, the musicians joined our students in creating instruments, puppets, costumes, and more.

What a magical way to celebrate a joyful week of music, art, and community! 💖🎉

Huge thanks to AKA Captain Joy for the gorgeous photos!
