Power of πŸ’― Ladies Who Lunch selected Trap Dat Cat today as the recipient for our second quarter donations to a local New Orleans nonprofit charitable organization.

If you were unable to attend Power of πŸ’― today and wish to donate $100 via check, please contact Lane or Lisa Beyer by June 15 to coordinate your donation to be included with the Power of πŸ’― checks which we will present to Trap Dat Cat Founder, Nita Hemeter.

Trap Dat Cat is a 501c3 nonprofit registered through the IRS, EIN 85-2127256, and as such all donations are tax deductible.

Where does your Trap Dat Cat donation go?

Well, not to maintain a facility. We don't have one. We work from Nita's front porch and out of foster homes. And since we don't have a facility, not to pay an electric bill, a water bill, or rent. Not to pay anyone's salary. We are all volunteers. Not for gas money. Our volunteers pay for their own gas.

Every dollar you donate goes directly to the cats. To spay/neuter them. To vaccinate them. To provide them with medical care. To feed them. Although most of our cat food is actually donated. To get them ready for adoption. To buy more traps so we can trap even more cats.

We scrimp and save and budget and shop for discounts. Whatever it takes to make the money go farther and make every dollar count. πŸ’΅

KREWE OF DOLLY EIN: 87-2915627

Who are the Dollies? Founded in 2020 by a small group of Dolly enthusiasts, membership in the Krewe of Dolly is open to all. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, the Krewe of Dolly seeks to support literacy and provide free books to every child from birth to age five in New Orleans.

What is the Imagination Library? Dolly’s Imagination Library is the flagship program of The Dollywood Foundation dedicated to promoting literacy and inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to registered children. The Dollywood Foundation partners with local nonprofits to register local children to provide hand-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality books each month. Children in the program since birth build a library of 60 books by age five! As the local program partner, the Krewe of Dolly raises the funds needed to ship the books that the Dollywood Foundation sources at low cost. Your support can provide a book every month to a child, delivered right to their doorstep.
