We've officially launched our First Responder Autism Resource Hub in Southwest Louisiana!

This initiative is the result of a growing partnership between Acadian Ambulance, Aspire Behavioral Health Center, State Representative Annie Spell, local law enforcement agencies, and community nonprofits like Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana, Families Helping Families of Southwest Louisiana, and St. Nicholas Center for Children that are dedicated to helping individuals with autism and other special needs.

The resource hub includes downloadable communication boards in multiple languages, educational videos, seat belt covers and practical tools designed to help first responders communicate more effectively and provide compassionate, informed care during emergencies.

We unveiled the resource hub to first responders and local leaders yesterday at our National EMS Academy Lake Charles campus.

To every special needs mom walking through motherhood with strength, grace, exhaustion, love, and resilience — Happy Mother’s Day. 💙

Today we celebrate the mothers who advocate endlessly, fight silent battles, learn new therapies, wipe tears, attend appointments, lose sleep, and still show up every single day with unconditional love.
