The PLHSI Officers and working committees wish to convey their deepest appreciation to everyone who joined in the 128th Philippine Independence Day celebration at Jean Lafitte, Louisiana.

The organization is especially thankful to the Town of Jean Lafitte officials, headed by Mayor Yvette Crain, for permitting the use of the auditorium. Gratitude is also expressed to the generous sponsors who provided food or financial assistance for the reception, including Coca Cola, PAUCLA, Loy Madrigal, Dr. Evelyn Filipinas, and Dr. Luisa Tagorda.

The culinary expertise of Chef Cris Pasia is recognized for the delicious dishes served at the reception. Thanks too to Christopher Cagandahan for the beautifully carved watermelon!

Moreover, the organization is grateful to those who shared their favorite Filipino dishes.

To the awesome performers, you really amazed us! Thank you!! Great Filipino talents!!!

And to all volunteers who helped with the decorations at the auditorium (Baton Rouge Team), and those who volunteered to serve the food at the reception, THANK YOU!!

To all of you, MARAMING SALAMAT PO!
