What an incredible way to wrap up our 74th Annual Meeting! This morning was filled with impressive ePoster and Abstract presentations, an in-depth debate on the pros and cons of the use of AI in surgery, and ended on a fun and competitive game of surgical jeopardy!

We enjoyed seeing everyone this weekend and thank all of you for participating. Let’s do it again next year!

That’s a wrap for this afternoon at the LA-ACS annual meeting!

We finished up with recognizing our out-going President, Dr Stuke, for his dedication and service to the chapter. Then we heard the Pediatric and Bariatric abstract presentations, the ACS Update from Second Vice President, Dr. Barksdale Jr., and a panel discussion with Louisiana Surgery Program Directors, Drs. Stuke, Gorham, Sit, Zhang, and Zibari.

This morning at the LA-ACS Annual Meeting has been jam packed with incredible information!

We heard from Dr. Sheahan, who informed attendees about the future of surgical certification, impressive abstract presentations, and rounded out the morning with Dr. Corsetti, who shared surgical coding updates.

The day is just getting started and we have more fun planned for this afternoon!
