🏈 PROUD OF OUR TROJANS! 🏈

This past weekend, our Jesse Owens Playground 7 and 8-year-old flag football team took the field at Girard Playground for the Gridiron Classic Flag Football Tournament!

Our young Trojans came ready to compete and represented Jesse Owens Playground with pride!

Coach and Supervisor Chris Scott had nothing but great things to say about both the players and the families who showed up to support them:
“I’m very proud of the kids. They played really, really well this past Saturday. I’m also especially proud of the parents for getting up, bringing the kids to the games, and supporting them. The kids did an excellent job representing the Jesse Owens community and the parish. I’m very proud of both the parents and the players.”

We’re proud of you, Trojans! Thank you to our coaches, parents, and families for continuing to show up and support these young athletes. ❤️💛🏈

Keep working hard and representing Jesse Owens with pride! 💪

A message from Supervisor, Coach Christopher Scott:

"This was our second annual Jesse Owens Community Reunion, and I would like to thank everyone in the community who came out to support our Health Fair and Book Drive. The event was a great success, bringing together people who hadn't seen each other in years while giving back to the community. We can't wait for next year as we continue to grow and improve this event, making it even better for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to everyone who helped make this reunion so special! Go Trojans!"❤️💛
