It’s a question that has shaped movements, challenged systems, and pushed communities to demand better. But accountability is more than pointing out what’s wrong. It’s about creating pathways toward what’s right.

As we look toward the next chapter of our nation’s story, we must ask ourselves what justice looks like when communities are heard, when leaders are responsible to the people they serve, and when lasting solutions are placed above temporary fixes.

Real change begins when we are willing to ask difficult questions and courageous enough to pursue the answers.

That reminder sat with us during our Justice & The Next 250 conversation.

Learning does not begin and end when the school bell rings. It happens in our communities, through our experiences, through hard conversations, and through the courage to ask questions about the world around us. As we imagine the next chapter of justice, safety, and opportunity, our young people deserve access to knowledge that empowers them to think critically, dream boldly, and lead with purpose.

Today, Daughters Beyond Incarceration is proud to launch **Justice & The Next 250**, a conversation rooted in possibility, progress, and purpose. As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, we are challenged to look beyond what is broken and imagine what is possible when communities, young people, and leaders come together to create lasting change.

For the girls and families we serve, justice is more than a system. It is opportunity. It is healing. It is being seen, heard, and supported.

The next 250 years start with the choices we make today. Join us as we reimagine safety, accountability, and justice for the generations that will follow.
