One of our float lieutenants received  this
Ace Frehley autographed Fender guitar from one of his Dear Mardi Gras friends on the street. Turns out that, story be told, there seems to be some kind of rivalry going on between them on who can give the best throws from their respective parade floats. This has escalated over the years (musical intruments, wooden indians, street cars, disco balls, boiled crawfish from Tracys,Alex Van Halen drumsticks) It seems that this particular OkeanosLT had won the 2025 contest last year, handing off a  early 1900s antique lyre table (dont get excited it was a small table handed off with desrving care) with the Orpheus logo embossed on the top. The table is now on public display at the Market Music Collectsble Museum and House of Ill Repute / Poker Hall in Philladelphia PA. The latest in the chess match of epic Mardi Gras lore, happened at the Avenue pub on St. Charles Avenue Sunday instead of at the Smokey Mary, as the OkeanosLT could not be at the Orpheus parade Monday night.

The OkeanosLT threw the flag of surrender but commented “hold crown on the rocks”
