We planned to work with 40 horses but in Cuba things seldom turn out as planned. The cocheros of Cienfuegos were so enthusiastic that we finally called it quits after 56 horses. We love being here as everyone really wants to improve their knowledge and the health of their horses.

This is why Cuba desperately needs dental floats. This poor horse was one of many with similar problems. When horses have sores from sharp teeth they do not chew their food completely and the ability to absorb it is reduced. With the food supply for horses limited, please help keep them get the most out of their food. These horses need your help!

The equipment we used in this was borrowed and may not be available in the future. We need our own and to give to veterinarians that we train. Please help in whatever way possible.

Seeking used equine dental floats: The horses in Cuba have very limited access to food. Helping them utilize their food more efficiently helps them stay alive. Please if you have old hand floats that you no longer use, please consider making a tax deductible donation of your old equipment to Cuba's Horse. Thanks.
