I love being a dad! ❤️
…Officially, I’m an “uncle dad!”
When my nephew, Marco, came to live with me, I didn’t know it would change both our lives. He was navigating those tough adolescent years, and I was in a major career transition with a big, empty house. My tour had ended, my series wrapped, and I was in a season of healing — unsure if I was ready to care for someone else while rebuilding myself.
He first asked to visit, but right before arriving, he asked if he could stay. I hesitated — my life wasn’t traditional — but something in me said yes. And I’m so glad I did.
Then one day he asked, “Can I be in one of your videos?” I said no at first — I wanted to protect him from the spotlight. But he promised to take it seriously, so we did one video.
That video — about his journey of acceptance and love of me, as the unique person that I am — reached over 14 million people. Soon, my manager suggested we create a family series.
Together, we filmed over 200 episodes across three countries, sharing our laughter, lessons, and love — reaching over a quarter BILLION views worldwide. Along the way, I taught him to build, to own what he creates, and to always have equity in his work.
One of my proudest lessons was teaching him to be self-sustaining — to protect himself, think critically, and never depend on anyone for peace or stability. Through every mountaintop and valley low, he was right beside me. If you ever met with me, he was probably just outside, watching and learning. I wanted him to see the real journey — the wins, the worries, and the work it takes to build a life.
Today, he’s a shrewd and fearless businessman — independent, strategic, and strong - living around the world!
To every parent who questions if you’re doing enough — hear me: you are. Parenting isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. It’s about loving, guiding, and believing, even when you’re still figuring it out yourself. The love you give, the lessons you live, and the example you set — that’s what lasts.
I may be an uncle by title, but in every way that matters… I’m a dad. ❤️
