Get ready for our 5th Annual WinterFest504 Christmas Parade and Celebration "Five Golden Rings: Community, Collaboration, Celebration, Care, Commitment"

To celebrate this special 5th year, we have lots of NEW changes:

The event will take place on SUNDAY, December 13th (Parade formats @ 12 Noon; Parade rolls @1:30 pm)

This year we will have marching bands, celebrity grand marshals, new themed throws, and hit the main streets!

The parade will end at Norwood Thompson Park where the WinterFest504 Celebration will continue.

We sent a text saying we were about to pull up and asking the owners if they would be willing to come out and speak to some of our youth from the Impact504 Roots2Rise program. They brought the kids the message they needed to hear surrounded by Black Excellence. Thank you Hair District!

What if social media started liking, commenting, and sharing every POSITIVE comity, photo, video they see of Blacks - what if success went more viral than fights; if acts of kindness and love got more views than hate and violence, if positivity became the vibe and negativity was became the posts we scroll past?

When we say change the system, we have to realize that the system changes according to how we interact in our roles as being a part of those same systems.
