Thanks to the volunteer krewe at JPMorganChase for coming out to our Frenchmen St warehouse to help us with framing! We appreciate the team for taking time out of their schedules to spend a day last week building walls for our homes in Rising Oaks.

Today is , which is just another opportunity for us to celebrate the meaning of home. All around the world, communities are reflecting on the importance of having access to safe, affordable homes, which is a topic we know a little something about. We're proud to continue supporting families in New Orleans as they work towards improving their own "habitat" for themselves and their families, including these new homeowners from the past few years.

Happy Birthday 🎉 to the legendary former President Jimmy Carter, Habitat for Humanity's most famous volunteer and supporter. President Carter first got involved with the organization in 1984 and helped transform it into a global movement. To honor his day, we're looking back on his visits to NOAHH.
