It is with a heavy heart that, I (Leslie Fountain), after many, many years of planning and carrying out the Locks of Love event in Metairie have decided to no longer produce the event. The event has brought much happiness to hundreds of children over the years. I have come to the point where my focus needs to be elsewhere and I will be unable to produce the event. I am very sorry to those that look forward to donating each year. Please accept my apologies with regards to this unfortunate matter.

If however you would like to ever schedule an appointment at Milan Hair & Body Salon with Leslie Fountain at 504-491-0342 I would still be glad to take care of you and donate the hair to Locks of Love.
I would like to thank that those of you that have helped make the event a success each year and a special thank you to all the great kids I have met through the years. You have all touched my life forever.

Thanks to all who volunteered and donated there hair. I could have not done this without you!!!!!!! We collected 2 footballs fields of hair, and raised $1,251 for Locks of Love.

Today is the big day to give back. Thanks to all who helped out with 16th annual Locks of Love cut-a-thon. I could not have done this with out you.
