✨ Membership Monday Spotlight ✨

Kynisha Jackson, Owner of Monarch Learning Academy, represents what it means to grow with purpose.

Starting as a Family Child Care provider in Orleans Parish, she took the next step and opened her Type III Child Care Center in 2024.

Through her participation in the 4PXP Peer-to-Peer Cohort #3 and continued membership, Kynisha is building a strong foundation for her business, her staff, and the families she serves.

👏 She recently renewed her 4PXP membership and continues to lead with intention.

📣 Monarch Learning Academy is now enrolling children ages 6 months to 5 years.

We’re proud to stand alongside providers like Kynisha across Louisiana.

Meet Letara Vellos, Program Manager of 4PXP’s Early Childhood Teacher Corps (ECTC) 💛

ECTC, 4PXP’s first workforce program, was created to meet a clear need: more classroom support today and a stronger pipeline of educators for tomorrow. Now in its third year, the program places trained AmeriCorps members in early learning classrooms to support language, literacy, and math while they gain hands-on experience and work toward a CDA credential.

Under Letara’s leadership, ECTC is rooted in consistency, care, and a deep commitment to children, providers, and communities.

Running a child care center can be a lot to manage, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Natashia George, program manager for 4PXP’s Peer to Peer Business Coaching Cohort.

Our Peer-to-Peer Business Coaching Cohort connects early childhood education owners and providers with peer mentors who understand the realities of running an early childhood program. They’ve done the work, learned through real challengers, and understand the realities of running a well oiled machine.

Over six months, participants receive practical guidance and trusted support focused on improving operations, increasing sustainability, raising wages, and growing their centers.Participants are also supported by ECE-aligned subject matter experts such as lawyers, accountants, bankers, and cybersecurity professionals who help providers build strong, informed teams.

This cohort is about learning from peers who’ve been there and building stronger, more sustainable programs together because our families need it.

Applications are now open!

Provider voices matter — and they deserve space to be heard.

Let’s Talk Advocacy was 4PXP’s first program, created when providers came together and made one thing clear: they needed a trusted space to talk honestly, share challenges, and co-build solutions to the issues impacting their programs and families.

What began as providers meeting weekly has grown into a consistent, provider-centered call where early childhood educators stay informed about policy and compliance updates, learn together, and strengthen their collective voice.

Led by Natashia George, 4PXP’s Compliance Programming & Engagement Manager, Let’s Talk Advocacy remains grounded in trust, lived experience, and real conversation — not presentations. Providers show up as experts and leaders shaping the future of early childhood education in Louisiana.

Through Let’s Talk Advocacy, we turn information into action and voice into influence.
