First Baptist Church Belle Chasse is partnering with Plaquemines Parish Recreation Department and Special Olympics to host a dinner/dance for adults with Special Needs on 13 June 2026. We will have a sit down dinner along with a live DJ and photo booth. If you know of anyone please pass it along and use the QR Code to register so I will have a count of how many people will attend. This past weekend the Special Olympics Louisiana State Summer Games were held at Southeastern Louisiana University. Even though the rain unfortunately canceled most of the events, our Special Olympics Louisiana - Plaquemines Parish community based and school based athletes had a great time. Our community based athletes competed in bocce and pickle ball skills and our school based competed in track and field. It was a wonderful weekend full of competition, friendship and fun🤍❤️
