In response to the ongoing maternal mortality public health crisis, particularly in Louisiana, the Louisiana Bureau of Family Health is hosting the Louisiana Maternal Mortality Prevention Symposium!��

Join them as they examine the findings from the 2020-2022 Louisiana Pregnancy-Associated Mortality Review Report, discuss the key factors contributing to pregnancy-associated deaths, and share the key recommendations for prevention of these deaths.��

This workshop will explore period tracking apps and their role in supporting healthcare delivery, patient care, and access to sexual and reproductive health information. Participants will learn key considerations for choosing or recommending a period tracking app, including privacy, accessibility, and evidence-based health information. Attendees will gain an understanding of how personal health data is collected, stored, and protected, and why digital privacy is an important component of reproductive healthcare.
