From nothing…to something real 🏒

The GCHL just wrapped up its first season. 70 total skaters, 8 weeks and every obstacle you can imagine

And still… we finished ✅

This was more than just your average adult league. This was the first New Orleans run adult ice hockey league since the early 2000’s, with the majority of the league coming from right here in the New Orleans metro area, driving hours, week after week just for a chance to play.

If that doesn’t prove the demand is real, nothing will.

New Orleans doesn’t just want hockey… it’s already here.
Now it’s time to build it a home.

Huge thank you to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum for being our “home away from home” this season, we’re incredibly grateful for the ice time and the support. Thank you as well to all that participated and helped out with the process from start to finish!

This is only the beginning…

Frozen Bayou Classic Champs 🏆

After a back and forth battle in the championship game, NOLA Hockey scores the game winning goal with :01 left in the game to clinch the 1-0 victory and bring home the hardware!

Thank you to the Lafayette hockey community for hosting a fun and competitive tournament. The level of play and sportsmanship all weekend was some of the best we’ve been apart of and we look forward to coming back in the future!

Our New Orleans Hockey D team squared off against the Acadiana Veterans Hockey team this morning in Lafayette!

Another school visit complete 🏒

Grades K-8 got the chance to try out the sport for the first time and we think we’ve found the next generation of passionate hockey players!

New Orleans Hockey School Visit 🏒🥅

A huge thank you to the 18th Ward and Homer Plessy Community School for welcoming us in to introduce 2nd–4th grade students to the sport of hockey!

Members of New Orleans Hockey and Tulane Club Hockey spent the day teaching the fundamentals of the game while also emphasizing the importance of teamwork, effort, and having fun through drills and scrimmages.
