📈 Each Wednesday, we continue to serve more families, and our numbers keep growing. It is exciting to see the word spreading throughout our community and to know that more students are benefiting from this program. 🏡

🥨🍎 Through our Summer Snack Bag Program, we are helping provide snacks and simple meal items to New Miami students throughout the summer months. We are grateful for the opportunity to support local families and help ease the burden of food costs while school is out. ❤️

One Village Summer Camp – Day 7 🍕☀️

To continue our cooking week, we took a fun field trip to Cassano's Pizza Fairfield ! The kids got hands-on experience making their very own pizzas—from adding toppings to watching them go into the oven. They also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the restaurant, which made the experience even more exciting!

After pizza, we treated ourselves to some delicious ice cream 🍦 before heading out for a walk to the park.

The campers wrapped up the day playing on the playground, enjoying the sunshine, and spending time with friends.

🍓🍕 Summer Camp Day 6– Cooking Week Continues! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Today was another exciting day of hands-on learning during our Cooking Week at One Village Summer Camp!

Our campers had the opportunity to learn how to make their very own fruit pizza with special guest Chef Tiffany. Campers chopped bananas, strawberries, and blueberries and used them to decorate a toasted English muffin. They had a blast creating their delicious masterpieces!

A special thank you to JEE Foods for supplying the English muffins that made this activity possible. 💚

Next, our campers took a trip around the world without ever leaving camp! Thanks to Jungle Jim’s International Market, they sampled snacks from Japan, Belgium, Korea, and China. It was fun watching their reactions as they gave each snack a big 👍 or 👎!

For lunch, campers enjoyed a tasty chicken quesadilla, and we wrapped up the day by heading outside to the playground to burn off some of that sugar from our international snack adventure! ☀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

🍩🎨 One Village Summer Camp – Day 5! 🎨🍩
Today we officially kicked off our Cooking Week and had an amazing day of creativity and fun!

A huge thank you to Kelly's Bakery for the delicious donuts for our campers to enjoy. Each camper had the opportunity to decorate their very own donut, making a tasty treat that was almost too good to eat! 🍩😋

We also began our Art Classes with Ms. Natalie. Thank you to the Fitton Center for Creative Arts for making this wonderful opportunity possible. Our campers put their creativity to work by designing and creating their own unique food trucks! 🚚🎨

Enjoyed some fun in the sun☀️

To wrap up the day, campers enjoyed a sweet treat that fit perfectly with our Cooking Week theme—a fun fruit-inspired frozen treat! 🍓🍊🍍🍧

🍎🥪 We’re grateful for the Children’s Hunger Alliance! Their support helps us provide FREE breakfast and lunch each day to our One Village Summer Camp campers.

Thanks to this partnership, our campers have access to nutritious meals during summer camp while they learn, play, and grow. It also allows us to focus more resources on creating meaningful experiences for our campers.

As we celebrate 3 years of growth, we’re thankful for the new partnerships and opportunities that help us better serve our youth, families, and community.

🦖🏛️ What an AMAZING first field trip of the summer for our One Village Summer Camp campers! ☀️🚌

Today, we traveled to the Cincinnati Museum Center, where our campers explored the Natural History Museum and the Cincinnati History Museum. From discovering fascinating exhibits about our region’s past to learning about science and nature, there was something exciting around every corner!
One of the highlights of the day was sitting back and experiencing the incredible T-Rex film in the OMNIMAX® Theater. Our campers were amazed as they learned about one of the most famous dinosaurs to ever walk the Earth on the giant screen! 🦕🎬

Field trips like these give our campers the opportunity to learn, explore, and create memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to see what adventures the rest of the summer has in store!

🎒💙 💚Thank you to Sanctuary Covenant Christian Fellowship for donating backpacks to our One Village Summer Camp!

These backpacks are helping our campers carry their lunches and personal items on field trips throughout the summer. We appreciate your generosity and support of the youth in our community!

One Village Summer Camp – Day 3 ☀️🚀
The campers kicked off the day by working on their “Summer Camp Jingle”! There was a lot of creativity and even a little friendly competition going on. 🎶🎤

After that, we had some free time in our game rooms before splitting into groups for a special visit from the Cincinnati Museum Center! The kids learned all about the solar system and even got to “drive” their own rocket ships. 🚀✨

We enjoyed lunch together and spent some time outside soaking up the sunshine. ☀️

It was another great day at camp, and we can’t wait for our field trip to the Cincinnati Children’s Museum tomorrow! 🎉
