When we laid out all of our Season 1 banners for the first time, we honestly just stood there in tears.
Not because of trophies.
Not because of titles.
But because of what those banners represent.
They represent prayers prayed in faith.
Long nights. Hard practices. Perseverance. Growth.
A small group of athletes who believed in what we were building before anyone else did.
To think about everything these amazing athletes accomplished in Season 1 absolutely overwhelms me. First place wins, level champion titles, bids to nationals, incredible placements… but even more than that — confidence built, friendships formed, character developed, and moments these athletes will carry with them forever.
As coaches and gym owners, our prayer has never been to have the most athletes. It’s never been to be the best… just to do our best. It’s never been about making our names known… we just want to make His known. It’s never been about glorifying our gym — it has always been about glorifying Him.
Our prayer has always been:
Lord, send us the athletes we can minister to.
Send us the athletes we can love on.
Send us the athletes we can pour into.
Send us the athletes that need confidence, friendship, purpose, and encouragement.
Send us the athletes that don’t know You yet.
Yes, there’s fun. There’s technique, choreography, conditioning, and hard practices. But at the heart of every single practice is giving our best as if we’re doing it for the Lord. Every performance on the competition floor is dedicated to God — a thank you for the ability, strength, and opportunity to do what we love.
Cheer is so much bigger than trophies for us. It’s about building strong athletes, strong character, and strong faith. It’s about teaching these kids who they are because of who God is.
Season 1 was proof of God’s faithfulness, and I am beyond excited for Season 2 and every athlete we get the privilege of experiencing life with — whether it’s for one season or many seasons to come. 💕
