The Common Light Project

We will be creating emergency food boxes for our neighbors in need this fall. We would like to make as many of these boxes as possible, and we can't do that without your help! Every $25 creates a box of food for a family facing hardship this season. While our goal is to make 100 boxes, we would love to surpass that! Please consider donating through our Zeffy link below. If you prefer to donate via cash or check, please send us a Facebook message or email Felicia Markus at [email protected]. Additionally, please share this message on your page and tell your friends what it is about!

Thank you for joining us in making an impact this fall!

Your gift to our Fall Emergency Boxes campaign helps us create as many boxes of food as possible. These boxes will be distributed to families facing hardship…

A huge thank you to the Wellington Eagles FOE #2051 ! They have donated 100 pounds of meat! We are so thankful for this generous donation, and are excited to pass it on to our Freedge patrons.

Today, the Wellington Lodge #127 F&AM donated a 21 cubic foot freezer to us here at The Common Light Project. This donation makes it possible for us to buy food when it is on sale, and/or available in bulk, rather than being confined to what is available during only the weekly ad. This also makes it so that we can accept frozen donations of meat and other food items.

Partnerships like this are what help The Common Light Project run. We are proud to serve Wellington alongside organizations like theirs. Words cannot do our gratitude justice.

If you would like to donate to our fund to help us stock the freezer, you can donate through the link below or contact Felicia Markus at [email protected]
